I love the wedding quilt my mom made us. It's like sunshine in our basement apartment. Here is a little bit of Molly sunshine too. Also, thanks to all for the help, dinners (Megan), cute gifts (Erin and Heidi), and such! I need to really write thank you cards/letters.

I've been a crazy person since the arrival of little Tessa and just wanted to apologize to anyone I've embarrassed, hurt, made uncomfortable and the like. So sorry all, I will be better behaved in future :)

introducing Tessa!

Tessa Suzanne Harris is here! She was born at 1:56am on June 24th. 7lbs. 3oz. 19 in. long.

Jinx (see previous post). Who knows what we are doing, but whatever it is it's going to be amazing.
I have sunburned feet. Molly spent pretty much the whole day in her teensy pool. Despite the pool being mostly deflated and the size of a puddle, she loved it, but the poor dear just crashed at 7. She even slept through getting her diaper changed before I plopped her into bed. I hope she doesn't wake up all disoriented; we could be in for a rough night, or she may just sleep all the way through (yes please).
So pretty much I had nothing to say but I am posting this anyway.

Molly is finally down for a nap after quite a lot of tantrum throwing (mostly by her, but I joined in once or twice). We have some sleep problems at our house and it's only going to get more exciting when we add a newborn to the mix. And I wonder how she will adapt to new living quarters on top of that(if all happens as we are hoping)? Should be fun. Chill pills will be in order I am sure, or just candy by the truckload. Sigh.
Anyway, as many are aware, the Torrey hotel didn't pan out. It was in the closing process with another buyer. I'm pretty sure (let's hope I'm not jinxing us by putting it on the blog) we are getting us a motel in Monticello. There are two prospective properties there. Ryan's brother also has a hotel in Monticello and has been looking into things a bit for us. Ryan will be going with his dad in the next two weeks to really get things rolling. We are shooting for becoming Monticello-ites shortly after the baby is born, but that could really be pushing it as the baby is due to arrive in four weeks. So that there's a little bit 'bout what been going on 'round here.

Molly's get together b-day celebration of sorts:

Okay so here's what's going down. We are having a little gathering at the park (Westridge Elementary and surrounding playgrounds and park) for Molly's birthday. It's really going to be low key; as in we might even have cake. Seriously, just going to the park to play. So any Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles or cousins who feel like swinging and sliding and climbing and throwing wood chips Friday May 14 at 7pm, well then, come and play. I guess you could come even if you just want to sit there; sliding and the like are not requirements :).

Maybe it's about time I wrote a little sumpthun. We are in full throttle of gettin' us a motel down ta hicks ville. Ryan and his dad are going to visit a few of the places Ryan's been looking into this weekend. Kind of exciting. I know, we are finally making some sort of decision and just jumping into it. Wish us luck! The most likely candidate is a Days Inn in Torrey, UT (about an hour from Richfield on the way to Capital Reef and fish lake and the like). A lot gonna be changin' round here for us. New baby, new business, new place to live. Feels like a lot. We will see how it all pans out, and maybe I'll keep you posted, but who knows because I have become quite unreliable with the blogging updates.

If you haven't already heard, we are having a girl! Yay! I can't really think of anything much else that is going on around here besides the daily whatevers.
Molly is starting to say a lot of new words which is always fun and exciting (baby, more(moy), water(wawa), Molly(Mowy), ow, nose(no), on, up, down, happy, diaper(diapy), toes...). She has not been sleeping so well at night recently. Frustrating.
Really no news on the job search. We just keep on keeping on. We hope to be moved out of the parent's basement before we are 40 ;)
At this moment Molly is washing her baby doll with a wet wipe and giving her a lot of kisses. She does cute things.
